Otters benefit from Ford Britain Trust

»«Thursday 11th December 2008

It was with great pleasure that Clive Page handed a cheque for £1300 to Stuart Munro from Ford Britain Trust towards a replacement engine for one of the Otter Spotter rescue boats.

The Corinthian Otters are fortunate to benefit in two ways; they receive local contributions such as this together with support as an RYA Championship Club sponsored by Volvo Cars which are a part of the Ford organisation.

Rory Page, who is an Otter Rear Commodore, is Clive's son, so Clive is well placed to know how much the Otters will benefit from Ford's generosity.

The Ford Britain Trust supports the advancement of education and charitable activities beneficial to the community with particular attention given to both organisations located in areas where Ford Motor Company Limited has a long standing association and projects which support the principles embodied in the company's policies on diversity.
