Cadet Rutland Training

»«Saturday 14th April 2007

For those who have not seen the Rutland results the Otters really shone, showing we have real depth of talent within the Cadet fleet at the moment. Everyone starred at some point during the training and racing. It is hard to think that some of our crews have been sailing less than a season. Members of the Otter 'C' fleet were mainly in the top half of the fleet.

We are well positioned to have Otter representation in the World Team.
You should be very proud of yourselves.

The Otters achieved:

Eight boats in the top 20. Best under 13, best under 14, best under 15 Top Three in the Silver Fleet. Race 2 winner. Overall 3rd and 6th

My special congratulations to Charlie for getting in the medals... very well deserved, and our new helming talent William Kennedy who proved his practice race win was not a fluke and scored two further races in the top ten.
