After the first day it was in some cases a matter of survival with at times there being more boats capsized than rescued. However, the Otters in true form managed to work their way round the course, with most completing the first and only race for the Saturday. With wind over tide, the rolling waves were causing all sorts of problems, so it was back to the Club house for the day, hoping Sunday would give us less wind.
There were ten Cadet starters in the Saturday race and Amy Seabright, crewed by Hannah Muskett, came first with Ollie Herve and Alex Warrington in second place.
Any hopes that the weather might ease for Sunday were dashed, if anything, conditions were worse. From the seven Sunday starters George Ayre and Lizzie Halling took the first place with Ollie and Alex again in second.
That made them the overall winners and Charlie Matthews with Chris Sycamore, who had been placed fourth in each race, found themselves second overall.
